Bio:

Dr. Ben Dalka is an external lecturer at the Chair of Management Control. His teaching combines a strong academic foundation with extensive practical experience in strategy consulting and corporate management. He studied psychology at the University of Cologne and management at the University of Göttingen. In his subsequent doctorate, also at the University of Göttingen, he brought both disciplines together, investigating the psychological foundations of top management decision-making and their influence on the strategic direction of companies. Ben Dalka also has extensive practical experience, both in strategy consulting (Boston Consulting Group) and in various corporate strategy functions (Otto Group, SAP). In these roles, he was responsible for a wide range of strategy, development and transformation programmes in collaboration with executive boards and senior management. Today, he works as a self-employed strategy consultant and executive coach, supporting companies and executives with strategic issues and personal change processes. At the Chair of Management Control, Ben Dalka contributes to the course “Cases in Management Control and Strategy Execution”.
